• Location: Glenmarie, Shah Alam
• Company industry: Manufacturing.
• Working hours: 5-day week: 8.30am-6.00pm(Monday-Friday)
• The person:
• Female age 35-45 with good command of English and ability to converse in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
• Possess bachelor degree in Accounting or ACCA/CIMA.
• 5-8 years of working experience of which 3 years in managerial position.
• Proficient in the use of Pracle accounting software will be an advantage.

2. Finance Manager

• Location: Meru, Klang.
• Company industry: Manufacturing on waste management.
• Working hours: 8.00 am-5.00pm (Monday-Friday); 8.00am-5.00pm(Alternate Saturday)
• The person:
• Male/Female age 35-45 with good English plus ability to converse in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
• ACCA or CIMA or Bachelor degree in Accounting
• At least 3-5 years in managerial position.
• A strong background in accounting report and accounting software.
• Willing to work on alternate Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to overseas Group Financial Controller and Directors in Hong Kong
• Prepare monthly accounts for businesses in Hong Kong and Japan offices
• Ensure and modify internal control framework, Group Finance policies and procedures, building controls around the monitoring and enforcement of such
• Prepare and manage the annual audit for Hong Kong under guidance from Group
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts with the businesses and maintain data integrity
• Measure and encourage business to achieve targets on main KPI's: cash receipts, billing, debt and WIP
• Cash flow analysis, income and profit analysis and forcasting
• Review actual spend against budget on a monthly basis and report to group on variances
• Support local partners by providing financial information to assist them to run the business more efficiently and profitably

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with a solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, accounting principles and previous team management experience
• Must have 10 years experiences gained within Multi-national Offshore Services Providers
• Independent, mature candidate with strong problem solving skills
• Hands-on and flexible personality and previous work experience within slim company structure
• Excellent command in English is REQUIRED
• Regional experiences would be an advantage

Finance Manager

Supervise Accounting Manager to work with Company’s auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts of the Company. Liaison with the Companies Tax representative to ensure company fulfilment of its tax obligations. Provide support to the MD, FD and local management on any commercial issues arising within the unit – e.g. contractual negotiation with clients, review of pricing for major regional jobs, review of terms and condition of major regional clients. Ensuring that adequate controls on in place within the Company to prevent loss of the Companies assets whether tangible or intangible. Liaison with bankers, lawyers and statutory boards as necessary. Qualification: Thai nationality Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. At least 3 years experience in managerial level. Good in English both vocal and writing. Client Description

Our client is a listed manufacturing group with operations in Guangdong Province, PRC.  The group is one of the industrial leaders in providing electronics manufacturing services, sales and distribution of small electronic home appliances with principal consumer brands.  The Group is experiencing significant growth in size and volume in the region. Owing to this, they are looking for a high caliber and seasoned candidate to support the growth of their finance team.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Financial Controller.
• Review the group consolidated financial accounting and to provide sound financial advice & value added analysis
• Review management reports to ensure accuracy, prepare forecast and budget
• To improve and streamline the existing internal control procedures
• Ensure compliance with corporate policy and legal regulations and identify possible risks
• Liaise with bankers, lawyers, auditors and regulatory bodies on statutory audit and listing rules compliance

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities

• Degree holder with professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 3 year audit experience from Big 4
• Practical experience in the operation of PRC manufacturing business preferred
• Able to work with external auditors, legal and tax advisers and bankers
• Strong analytical mind, good inter-personal and communication skills
• Excellent command in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
